CHLOE OF THE WEST
A popular tourist attraction in the hotel is our unique version of the famous Melbourne
Young and Jackson Hotel-CHLOE- ours is entitled “CHLOE OF THE WEST”
and must be sighted to be believed!
(actual size 1.830cm x 1.070cm)
Another attraction is the large variety of “CAPS”
hanging around the walls- an awesome collection- all donated!
Our hotel boasts the coldest refreshing ale
available with our unique temprite system working to a treat.
The cold beer tastes like really cold draught beer! BEAUTIFUL!
A free combined hotels draw operates between 6pm -8pm.
Costs nothing to enter and escalates by $500 per week, if not claimed.
A very nourishing meal is available while you wait for your number to be drawn.
Again, entry is free, but you have to be in attendance when it’s drawn!
Rotated weekly between the Fishing Club, School P&C and the Pub.
Value for money meat/chicken trays/roasts etc. and all going to non profit organisations.
The dining room offers home cooked meals and homemade pizzas.
There are 15 different pizzas from which to choose and can be eaten in or takeaway.
Dining room meals are available between 6pm.-8pm.(Wednesday to Sunday inclusive)
We have 4 twin share rooms with complimentary continental breakfast.
All rooms have electric blankets, doonas, ceiling fans and there is a fridge,
microwave and a free b.bque for your convenience.
Keeping in the tradition of our past,
we still offer relaxing accommodation for you and your vehicle
of conveyance- similar to years gone by-
unfortunately due to the drought we cannot afford chaff to feed your horses!
But you’re invited in for a friendly chat and/or a meal off the generous menu.
All camping on our large block is free of charge,
however power and/or bathroom facilities attract a minimal gold coin donation.
We’re a very small country hotel but if you don’t come over,
you’re not going too know how friendly little places like ours can be!
As the sign coming into the village says- A SMALL CARING COMMUNITY.
If we don’t see you, thank you for choosing to spend a night in Grong Grong.
